إصدار جديد من برنامج CPU-Z قد أطلق مؤخراً برقم 1.78. هذا البرنامج يوفر لمستخدميه كامل المعلومات عن المعالج المركزي مع معلومات عن اللوحة الام/الذاكرة/البطاقة الرسومية وغيرها من التفاصيل المهمة.

الإصدار الجديد من هذا البرنامج يقدم الدعم لسلسة معالجات إنتل Broadwell-E الأقوى لمنصة X99 بسوكيت LGA2011-v3. فهذه السلسة من المعالجات تتميز بقوة كبيرة وهي تضم Core i7-6900K/Core i7-6850K/Core i7-6850K/Core i7-6800K, وأفضلها معالج Core i7-6950X القادم مع 10 انوية و 20 مسار. كل مالكي لوحات X99 سيكون عليهم فقط تحديث بيوس لوحاتهم لكي تتوافق لوحاتهم مع المعالجات المركزية الجديدة

كما يضيف الإصدار الجديد دعم لمعالجات Pentium, Celeron و Core m3, m5 و m7 من معمارية Skylake للاجهزة المحمولة. وأيضاً يدعم معالج AMD A10-7890K APU.
