سوني فيغاس بالأصل برنامج لتحرير الصوت وطور بعد ذلك ليكون برنامج لتحرير الصوت والفيديو من إصداره الثاني وحتى الآن. وأهم ميزاته هو مسارات الفيديو والصوت المتعددة إذ بإمكانك دمج مئات المقاطع من الفيديو، لجعلها فيديو واحد وكذلك الأمر بالنسبة لدمج الصوتيات. يحتوي فيغاس على شريحة
